Amman, June 24 (Petra) – The Jordan National Red Crescent Society
(JNRCS) said on Wednesday that injured children from Gaza are
receiving quality treatment and prosthetic care at its hospital.
The children and their families are hosted in Jordan under integrated
care, receiving full medical, humanitarian, and social support to
ensure dignified conditions throughout treatment and rehabilitation,
the society said.
Services include surgical procedures, rehabilitation, and prosthetic
fitting for patients, along with psychological and social support for
patients and families. The program also includes recreational
activities, outings, and celebrations of birthdays and special
occasions for children.
Patients and companions receive hygiene supplies and essential items,
a JD50 shopping card for clothing and necessities, and three daily
meals throughout their stay, according to the JNRCS.
