Amman, June 25 (Petra) — The national football team has departed
Portland for Dallas as it continues its preparations for its final
Group Stage match against Argentina in the 2026 FIFA World Cup,
co-hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
The team is scheduled to resume training in Dallas on Thursday under
head coach Jamal Sellami as it builds up to the Group 10 fixture
against Argentina.
Jordan is looking to conclude its participation in the tournament
with a solid performance against the world’s top-ranked team, which
includes star player Lionel Messi.
The team previously lost its two group-stage matches against Austria
and Algeria.
