Amman, June 25 (Petra) – Jordan Exports and the European Chamber of
Commerce in Jordan (EuroCham) on Thursday discussed strengthening
cooperation, supporting Jordanian exports, and expanding their access
to European markets.
The meeting brought together Jordan Exports Head Maher Matalka,
EuroCham Chairman Mohammad Samadi, and the two sides’ board members
and executives.
According to a joint statement, discussions focused on cooperation
opportunities and the main challenges facing Jordanian exporters in
European markets.
During the meeting, participants called for sharing information on
exhibitions and trade missions, strengthening connections between
Jordanian exporters and European buyers, and identifying new markets
and opportunities for Jordanian products.
Urging continued coordination and a “stronger” partnership, the
attendees said this effort would improve export competitiveness,
expand the number of exporting companies and increase presence of
Jordanian products in European markets.
