Amman, July 9 (Petra) — The Northern Military Zone on Wednesday
successfully thwarted an attempt by an individual to illegally cross
the kingdom’s northern border.
Border Guard Unit detected the individual while attempting to cross
the border illegally. Acting in accordance with the established rules
of engagement, the forces apprehended the suspect and referred the
case to the competent authorities for the necessary legal procedures.
The Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army reaffirmed their commitment to
confronting all forms of infiltration and smuggling with firmness to
safeguard the Kingdom’s security and stability and protect its
borders from all threats.
