Muscat, July 19 (QNA) – Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi and his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi spoke by phone on Sunday to discuss the evolving regional dynamics and their implications on the region’s security and stability.
During the conversation, the two ministers stressed that it is important to step up diplomatic actions for de-escalation, prioritize dialogue and peaceful solutions, in addition to precluding the region’s plunge into further confrontations.
Both sides underlined the need to respect international law and protect the security and freedom of navigation, as well as the interests of all peoples and the sovereignty and stability of nations. (QNA)
