Amman, July 22 (Petra) — Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
reached JD13.8 million Wednesday, as 3.8 million shares changed hands
through 3,715 transactions.
The general share price index closed the session at 3,931 points, up
0.47%, against the last session.
As for the top gainer, the industrial sector index made a whopping
2.04% rise. The services industry surged at 0.50%, while the
financial benchmark slipped 0.01%.
Of the 98 companies traded during the session, 40 posted share price
gains, compared with their previous performances, while 21 declined.
