Monitors Israeli Activities Inside Lebanese Territory

15 Sep 2026 (ONA) — The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has
monitored activities by Israeli occupation forces inside Lebanese territory,
alongside the continuation of restrictions imposed on the freedom of movement
of peacekeeping forces.
Deputy
Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General Farhan Haq explained that
peacekeeping forces monitored, during the period from Thursday to Sunday,
Israeli drones in the vicinity of the Mansouri area, noting that at least 32
airstrikes were recorded inside UNIFIL’s area of operations during the same
period.
He
affirmed that UNIFIL continues, despite the security situation, to support
humanitarian efforts, explaining that it facilitated 16 humanitarian missions
on Thursday and Friday through its liaison branch, in coordination with the
United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), all
of them in the western sector.
