Hot Air Mass to Push Temperatures Higher Across Kingdom Through Sunday

Amman, July 30 (Petra) — Temperatures will rise slightly on Thursday
as the Kingdom comes under the impact of a hot air mass, bringing
relatively hot weather across most regions, while sweltering
conditions will prevail in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead
Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be moderate northwesterly, picking up at
times.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) report, a
further slight increase in temperatures is expected on Friday.

Weather conditions will turn hot in most areas, while remaining
scorching in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba,
with moderate northeasterly to northwesterly winds becoming active
periodically.

Hot weather will persist across most regions on Saturday and Sunday,
staying blistering in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and
Aqaba, with moderate northwesterly to northeasterly winds.

West Amman: 34C – 22C
Northern Highlands: 32C – 19C
Sharrah Highlands: 33C – 18C
Badia: 40C – 23C
Plains: 36C – 22C
Northern Jordan Valley: 42C – 27C
Southern Jordan Valley: 45C – 30C
Dead Sea: 44C – 29C
Aqaba: 43C – 28C
