Jordan Dispatches Eleventh Relief Convoy to Lebanon

AMMAN, July 30 (Petra) – The Hashemite Jordan Hashemite Charity
Organization (JHCO), in coordination with the Jordan Armed
Forces–Arab Army (JAF) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and
Expatriates, dispatched the eleventh humanitarian relief convoy to
Lebanon on Thursday.

Comprising 18 trucks laden with essential medical supplies,
pharmaceuticals, and hygiene products, the shipment was organized
alongside international and local donor partners as part of Jordan’s
ongoing commitment to alleviating the humanitarian conditions facing
affected communities in Lebanon.

With the departure of this eleventh batch, the cumulative total of
aid vehicles dispatched by Jordan via land convoys to Lebanon reaches
215 trucks, delivering hundreds of tonnes of food, medical gear, and
basic relief commodities to reinforce vital public sectors and
mitigate living burdens.

Secretary-General of JHCO, Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, affirmed that the
sustained operation of relief supply lines reflects the Kingdom’s
steadfast stance in supporting brotherly nations during complex
crises. He noted that the organization maintains active operational
coordination with on-ground authorities to align deliveries with
actual field assessments.

JHCO also expressed its appreciation for the Syrian authorities for
facilitating the transit and safe passage of the humanitarian convoys
through their territory en route to Lebanon, confirming that further
relief operations will continue as scheduled.
