Shooting Championship for
Firearms, Air-Pressure Weapons Gets Underway
Muscat, 12 July 2026 (ONA) — The
2026 edition of Oman Shooting Association Championship commenced today at the
National Olympic Shooting Complex in Muscat, featuring competitions in 50m
pistol shooting (Center-Fire), as well as 10m Olympic air-pressure events
(rifle and pistol) across multiple categories, including juniors (male and
female), open division (male and female), and athletes with disabilities. The
championship will run until 15 July 2026.
The tournament opened with a series of official training
sessions conducted in a competitive atmosphere, aimed at honing and developing
shooters’ skills while showcasing national talent.
