Rafah, 13 July 2026 (ONA) — The
Rafah land border crossing in Egypt’s North Sinai Governorate received today 78
wounded and ill Palestinians, along with their companions, from the Gaza Strip
for treatment in Egyptian hospitals.
A responsible source at the
crossing, as reported by Egypt’s Middle East News Agency, confirmed that 37
wounded and sick individuals, accompanied by 41 escorts, were received and
subsequently transported to Egyptian medical facilities for care.
The source noted that this marks
the 61st such batch, following 60 previous deliveries since the Palestinian
side of the Rafah land port was reopened in February of this year—after having
been closed by the Israeli occupation authorities.
