Doha, August 09 (QNA) – Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index increased by 26.58 points, or 0.26%, at the start of Sunday’s trading, up to 10,138 points, supported by five sectors.
The market data showed gains in the sectors of Telecoms (+1.19%), Banks and Financial Services (+0.48%), Consumer Goods and Services (+0.14%), Transportation (+0.05%), and Insurance (+0.02%). Meanwhile, performance was negative for Real Estate (-0.42%) and Industrials (-0.30%).
By 10:00 am, turnover stood at QR 63.007 million, with 30.167 million shares traded in 3,764 transactions, according to QSE data. (QNA)
