National Swimming Teams Continue
Preparations for International Competitions
Muscat, 18 Aug 2026 (ONA) — The
national swimming teams for both short-course and long-course events are
continuing their preparations for upcoming international competitions. The
team’s swimmers will participate in the Arab Long-Course Swimming Championship
in Tunisia, scheduled from 2 to 4 October 2026, and the Arab Short-Course
Swimming Championship in the Kingdom of Bahrain, to be held from 13 to 17
November of this year.
The national team swimmers will
commence tomorrow “Wednesday” an external training camp in the Arab Republic of
Egypt, which will continue until the end of the current month, as part of their
preparations for these competitions. This follows the conclusion of their
domestic training camp held at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher.
