Arab Bank, HCD host AI training for entrepreneurs with disabilities

Amman, Aug. 18 (Petra) — Arab Bank, in collaboration with the Higher
Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (HCD), organized
a specialized training workshop on artificial intelligence (AI) tools
and applications for entrepreneurs with disabilities.

The initiative aligns with the bank’s commitment to sustainability
and corporate social responsibility, supporting its vision to empower
individuals with disabilities and strengthen their role in national
development.

Held at HCD headquarters, the workshop aimed to enhance participants’
digital skills and enable them to leverage AI tools to expand their
businesses amid rapid technological changes.

The session brought together young male and female entrepreneurs,
members of HCD’s women’s and youth committees, and disability rights
activists with experience in managing community projects.

The training covered accessible AI tools compatible with screen
readers and assistive technology, data collection and analysis
methods, trend tracking, content creation, and administrative task
automation, including scheduling and email management, to boost
productivity.

Participants engaged in practical exercises based on real-world
scenarios, practicing report generation and accessible social media
content creation tailored to accessibility standards.

The workshop represents a continuation of ongoing cooperation between
Arab Bank and HCD, which previously included a financial literacy
program designed to promote financial independence among women with
disabilities.
