Beirut, September 22 (QNA) – Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon continued on Monday.
Field sources reported the impact of seven shells on the Khiyam plain, while occupation artillery targeted the outskirts of Nabatieh Al Fawqa and Wadi Zbaqin.
Israeli occupation forces also dropped several phosphorus bombs on Wadi Al Saluki, while occupation warplanes targeted the outskirts of the town of Zoutar Al Sharqiya and the town of Kafr Tibnit, as explosions were heard in the town of Al Mansouri.
Lebanon and the Israeli entity signed a framework agreement, mediated by the US, in June, which stipulates security arrangements including a gradual deployment of the Lebanese Army and the withdrawal of occupation forces, in addition to measures related to reconstruction and economic recovery, while implementation of its provisions continues to face obstacles.
