Occupied Jerusalem, September 29 (QNA) – Hundreds of colonists stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate on Tuesday morning, under the heavy protection of the Israeli occupation forces, and performed Talmudic rituals and prayers, group songs, and applause.
WAFA news agency, citing the Jerusalem Governorate, explained that the colonists performed their rituals in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the occupation police.
The colonists also beat and dragged Palestinians in the Bab Al-Amoud area, and published video clips documenting their attacks on their social media pages.
The incursions coincide with the occupation authorities tightening their military measures in the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City and imposing restrictions on the entry and movement of worshippers.
September 2026 witnessed repeated incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque, the last of which was yesterday, Monday, with the participation of 1,731 colonists. According to Jerusalem Governorate data, more than 40,661 colonists stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the beginning of 2026 until the end of August, while the number of decisions to remove Jerusalemites from the mosque reached about 800 decisions from the beginning of 2026 until early September.
