Amman, Sept. 29 (Petra) — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization
(JHCO), in cooperation with the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army and
in coordination with the World Food Programme (WFP), dispatched its
14th humanitarian aid convoy to Lebanon.

JHCO Secretary-General Hussein Al-Shibli said the convoy consists of
20 trucks carrying essential food supplies.

He said the convoy is part of Jordan’s ongoing humanitarian efforts
to support the people of Lebanon and respond to needs on the ground,
particularly those related to food security and the provision of
essential supplies to the most vulnerable groups.

Al-Shibli said the 14th convoy reflects the continuity of Jordan’s
humanitarian efforts and coordination among national institutions and
international partners, helping ensure that aid reaches those in need
efficiently and effectively.

He added that JHCO, in cooperation with the Jordanian Armed
Forces-Arab Army and in coordination with WFP, continues to deliver
assistance according to humanitarian priorities and needs through
organized mechanisms designed to speed up response and improve the
efficiency of aid delivery.

JHCO expressed its appreciation to the Syrian authorities for their
cooperation and for facilitating the convoy’s passage, helping ensure
that the aid reaches the beneficiary organizations and groups and
supporting joint humanitarian efforts.
