Digital Platform Links Truck, Cargo Flows Across Aqaba Logistics Network

Aqaba, Oct. 1 (Petra) — Aqaba is expanding the use of integrated
digital systems to track truck and cargo movements across its ports
and logistics network, supporting efforts to streamline trade flows
and improve operational efficiency.

Minister of Transport Nidal Qatamin and Aqaba Special Economic Zone
Authority (ASEZA) Chief Commissioner Shadi Ramzi Majali reviewed the
digital infrastructure during a visit to Maqta Ayla Digital
Solutions, accompanied by Commissioner for Economic Affairs and
Investment Mohammad Abu Omar.

Company Director Ahmad Al-Alam presented the system used to monitor
trucks entering and leaving logistics facilities and explained how
data is integrated across different stages of port, transport and
supply-chain operations.

The platform provides digital indicators and analytics that allow
operators to monitor the movement of trucks and goods and assess
operational performance.

The system forms part of the digital solutions supporting Aqaba’s
ports, transport and logistics services, with a focus on facilitating
cargo and truck flows and improving coordination across the logistics
chain.

Greater integration of digital tools is also intended to support
Aqaba’s competitiveness as a regional hub for trade, transport and
supply chains.
