Amman, Oct. 1 (Petra) — Gaza Strip hospitals received eight people
killed and 26 injured over the past 24 hours, the Gaza Ministry of
Health announced.
The ministry said in a statement Thursday, carried by the Palestinian
News Agency (WAFA), that 1,439 people have been killed since the
ceasefire took effect on Oct. 11, 2025. It said injuries reached
5,052, and the number of bodies recovered reached 834.
The ministry said the cumulative toll since Israeli aggression on the
Strip began on Oct. 7, 2023, reached 74,040 killed and 175,168
injured.
