Suva, October 01 (QNA) – An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale struck on Thursday the coast of Fiji in the South Pacific.
The US Geological Survey said that the earthquake’s epicenter was at a depth of 637.9 km.
There have been no reports of casualties or material damage due to the earthquake so far.
Fiji is located in the Pacific Ring of Fire, a region that frequently experiences tremors and aftershocks, some of which can be powerful. (QNA)
