Khartoum, (SUNA) – Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris affirmed the government’s commitment to moving forward with the rebuilding and reconstruction of Sudan, relying on national resources and expertise despite the exceptional circumstances facing the country. Dr. Idris made the remarks on Sunday evening while inaugurating a number of service facilities in Al-Gireif West in Khartoum, including a health centre, a club and Al-Gireif West Stadium, following their rehabilitation under his direct directives. The inauguration was attended by Khartoum State Wali Ahmed Othman Hamza, Director-General of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Mohamed Tahir Omar, and a number of security, police and executive officials, as well as residents of the area. The Prime Minister praised the resilience of the people of Al-Gireif West, saying the reopening of the facilities symbolized the pride and dignity of the Sudanese people and opened broad doors of hope across the country. Dr. Kamil Idris congratulated the Sudanese people on the victories achieved by the Armed Forces and supporting forces, commending the sacrifices of the Armed Forces, Joint Forces, General Intelligence Service, police and mobilized citizens, and praising the Sudanese people for standing behind their Armed Forces. He reaffirmed the Hope Government’s commitment to supporting the Armed Forces and supporting forces, noting that the war imposed on the country is nearing its end and that “the peace of victorious knights is coming, Allah willing.” The Prime Minister also affirmed the government’s commitment to providing electricity and water services, improving people’s livelihoods and supporting reconstruction efforts, while commending the efforts of the Khartoum State Government and the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company in this regard. He also praised the role of the national media in supporting the state and the Armed Forces, calling for concerted efforts to overcome the consequences of the war and rebuild Sudan. Dr. Idris said that will and determination would restore Sudan to strength and enable it to regain its place among leading nations. The people of Al-Gireif West, for their part, affirmed their support for the Armed Forces and the Hope Government and their continued efforts to rebuild and reconstruct the country.BH/BH
