Saudi Arabia’s Voluntary Carbon Market Fuels the Shift to a Low-Carbon
Khartoum, (SUNA) — Prime Minister Prof. Kamil Idris commended the level of partnership between the Central Bank of Sudan, Sudan Currency Printing Press and Swiss company K&B. He made the remarks during a meeting in Khartoum on Tuesday with a delegation from K&B, headed by Stephen Baumann, in the presence of Central Bank of Sudan Governor Amna Mirghani Hassan Al-Tom, Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Ali Mohamed Ali, and Director General of Sudan Currency Printing Press Eng. Mohamed Abdel-Rahman Mukhtar. In a press statement, the Director General of Sudan Currency Printing Press said the meeting discussed ongoing preparations by the company to resume operations from its headquarters in Khartoum after a suspension of more than three years, during which it operated from alternative sites in three states: River Nile, Northern and Red Sea. He said the meeting also addressed the strategic relationship between Sudan Currency Printing Press and K&B, which has spanned more than three decades. Eng. Mohamed Abdel-Rahman Mukhtar noted that K&B is one of the world’s largest companies specializing in the manufacture of currency-printing machines and systems, with a market share exceeding 85 percent of the global market.BH/BH
