Ramallah, Oct. 12 (Petra) – Armed Israeli settlers attacked on Monday
Palestinian farmers harvesting olives in Turmus Ayya village near
Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, injuring several people.
The settlers also blocked people from reaching their olive groves in
the town, according to the Palestine Red Crescent Society.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces launched search-and-arrest raids
across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, detaining 20
Palestinians, including former prisoners.
During the raids, soldiers searched dozens of homes, ransacked
private property, and subjected residents to hours of field
interrogations and harsh treatment.
Several of those arrested were transferred to Israeli intelligence
services for further questioning for being “wanted” by security
authorities.
