King Hussein Cancer Foundation, Harlem Partner to Support Patients’ Treatment

Amman, Oct. 19 (Petra) — The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF)
has signed an agreement with Harlem Trading Agencies and Car Trading
Company to help cover treatment costs for cancer patients unable to
afford care at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC).

Under the agreement, the company will donate a Jetour vehicle as a
prize for the foundation’s “Small Ticket, Big Chances for Recovery”
fundraising campaign, with proceeds from a quarter of the campaign’s
tickets designated to support treatment for patients facing financial
hardship.

The agreement was signed by KHCF Director General Nisreen Qatamish
and Ahmad Karki, representing Harlem on behalf of its general
manager.

Qatamish said partnerships with the private sector play a vital role
in mobilizing resources to ensure patients have access to treatment
and comprehensive cancer care, regardless of their financial
circumstances.

She described the agreement as an example of how cooperation between
businesses and humanitarian organizations can help address patients’
needs and strengthen community solidarity.

Karki praised the foundation’s efforts to ease the burden of cancer
on patients and their families, as well as KHCC’s achievements in
specialized treatment and advanced medical research.

He said the company’s contribution reflects its commitment to
corporate social responsibility and its belief that businesses have a
role to play in improving people’s lives beyond their commercial
activities.

Karki also expressed hope that the agreement would lead to long-term
cooperation with the foundation and provide further support to
patients and their families.

KHCF said it remains committed to expanding partnerships across
sectors and mobilizing community support to help financially
disadvantaged patients receive specialized treatment and care at
KHCC.
