Amman, Oct. 19 (Petra) — The Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army (JAF)
evacuated on Monday the 35th cohort of sick children from the Gaza
Strip under the Jordan Medical Corridor initiative, executing royal
directives.
The newly arrived group includes 20 pediatric patients accompanied by
20 family members. They were transported to the Kingdom to receive
medical treatment and specialized healthcare across several Jordanian
hospitals as part of ongoing humanitarian and medical assistance
provided to Palestinians in Gaza.
The evacuation operations, launched in March 2025, are conducted
through close coordination between the JAF, the Ministry of Health,
and the World Health Organization (WHO), strictly adhering to
established medical standards to ensure high-quality care for the
young patients.
This initiative embodies the Kingdom’s steadfast humanitarian role
under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II in supporting
the Palestinian people, alleviating hardship in Gaza, and extending
critical medical intervention to vulnerable groups.
