Abu Dhabi, Oct. 19 (Petra)– The United Arab Emirates strongly
condemned on Monday an attack by Israeli settlers targeting a
European diplomatic delegation during a visit to the West Bank
village of Taybeh.
In a statement issued Monday, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs
described the assault as a clear violation of international laws,
charters, and norms that guarantee full protection for diplomats and
diplomatic missions. The ministry stressed that such actions
exacerbate deteriorating conditions in the region and impede
international efforts to achieve peace and stability.
The UAE called for an independent, transparent investigation into
these violations and for holding those responsible accountable. It
urged the international community to assume its responsibilities to
halt Israeli violations and prevent further escalation across the
Occupied Palestinian Territory and the wider region.
