Amman, Jan. 25 (Petra) — The US Department of State on Tuesday affirmed Jordan’s special role as Custodian of Muslim Holy Sites in Jerusalem.
In remarks at a press briefing, Department Spokesperson Ned Price highlighted the fact that the US stands firmly for the preservation of the historic status quo with respect to the Holy Sites in Jerusalem.
