Morocco, France Discuss Enhancing Economic Cooperation

The talks provided an opportunity for the two ministers to discuss economic dynamics in both Morocco and France, as well as the development of cooperation and partnership relations between the two countries.

Fettah highlighted the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries, underlining the importance for Morocco and France to take account of the geopolitical, social and societal challenges ahead.

“The strong ties of friendship and economic relations between the two countries could serve as a model for cooperation between the two shores of the Mediterranean,” she said, stressing the importance of paying greater attention to the issue of energy sovereignty, which involves providing clean, sustainable energy for both the population and the industrial sector.

The Minister also pointed out that substantial efforts had been made to provide adequate responses to the universal problems affecting the world’s population, particularly in Africa and Africa.

For his part, Le Maire underlined the prospects for the economic partnership between France and Morocco, and for the two countries’ cooperation with Europe and Africa.
