Gaza, April 20 (QNA) – A Palestinian was martyred and another wounded by shelling from an Israeli drone on Monday in the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, medical sources in Gaza reported.
The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 72,551 martyrs and 172,274 wounded.
The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel came into effect in Oct. 2025, following the withdrawal of the Israeli army from its positions and populated areas in the Strip, and the beginning of the return of displaced persons to the northern Gaza Strip. This was part of the first phase of US President Donald Trump’s initiative to end the war on Gaza. (QNA)
