Beirut, Oct 11 (Petra) – Two people were killed and four wounded in a series of Israeli dawn strikes near Sidon in southern Lebanon, a Lebanese security source said Saturday.
It said Israeli war jets staged 10 raids, destroying bulldozer and heavy machinery showrooms on a highway in the Sidon district, leaving it on fire.
The source said civil defense crews were clearing debris to reopen the Al Museileh-Zahrani highway, and search team were looking for missing people.
Israeli aircraft have been targeting bulldozers and cranes removing rubble in Lebanese towns that were targeted during the latest Israeli war on Lebanon, said the source.
