Amman, Aug. 5 (Petra) — Price of 21-karat gold, the most
sought-after by consumers in the local market, reached JD85.30 per
gram for sale at Jordan’s jewelry stores on Wednesday, while the
buying cost stood at JD81.30.
According to the Jordanian Jewelers Syndicate (JJSJO) the selling
price of 24-karat gold rose to JD97.90 per gram locally, while
18-karat gold was priced at JD75.50 per gram.
