Aqaba, Oct. 14 (Petra) – Civil Defence teams and relevant authorities from the Public Security Directorate (PSD) on Tuesday rescued 22 people following a gas leak inside a factory in the southern city of Aqaba.
The PSD spokesperson said that most of the injuries were classified as moderate to good, and the injured remain under treatment at the hospital. He added that the incident was contained and the gas leak brought under control.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident, the spokesperson said, noting that details will be announced once the probe is completed.
