Amman, June 28 (Petra) – Four people were arrested and a sum of money was recovered on Saturday when protective security officers raided their location after they robbed a company in Amman, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said.
A special team of the Criminal Investigation, Preventive Security, Central Amman Police and Forensic Laboratories departments was formed after police were tipped off about a group of people who broke into the company’s office and stole a sum of money from a safe, the PSD media spokesperson said.
After piecing together information and identifying the suspects, detectives raided their quarters, arresting four of them and recovering part of the stolen cash, he said, adding that search is underway for other suspects who were still on the run.
