Amman, January 13 (Petra) – A 6.9-magnitude quake struck southwestern Japan on Monday, though there have been no reports of casualties or significant damage.
According to the Kyodo News Agency, the Japan Meteorological Agency said the earthquake’s epicentre was located off the island of Kyushu.
Authorities issued a warning about the potential for a tsunami in the Miyazaki and Kochi prefectures.
