Amman, Sep.14 (Petra) – Under the patronage of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Chair of the Board of Trustees of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Entro Gate Company concluded the sixth edition of Lenabtaker Competition in Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Youth with the participation of students from 12 Arab countries.
In a statement Sunday, the company said the competition aims to enhance students’ entrepreneurship skills and innovation tools to develop “entrepreneurial” ideas that provide solutions to real-world problems in eight key sectors.
The final results, which qualified 50 projects submitted by students from public and private schools representing 12 Arab countries, were announced at the closing ceremony, held recently in Amman.
The winners of the top 5 places in the competition were announced, as well as their peers in the 8 sectors designed for the entrepreneurial projects.
Talking at the ceremony, Samar Obeidat, CEO of Entro Gate Company, noted importance of entrepreneurship and innovation and their expected impact on students’ futures over the next ten years, as the key skills that must be enhanced within the school environment.
