Amman, May 27 (Petra) -King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) on Tuesday signed a cooperation agreement with the United Insurance Company PLC to provide care insurance to cover cancer treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC).

The agreement allows for “immediate” initiation of treatment exclusively at the center’s headquarters without the need to obtain prior approvals.

The agreement was signed by KHCF General Manager, Nisreen Qatamesh, and the company’s CEO, Raed Haddadin.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Qatamesh noted the agreement is an “important” step to expand access to “comprehensive” treatment services for cancer patients in the Kingdom.

Qatamesh added that this process comes under Takaful (Solidarity) care insurance, which guarantees access to the “best possible medical care under exclusively streamlined procedures and immediately at the center in the event of a cancer diagnosis.”

Meanwhile, Haddadin said the collaboration reflects the company’s “commitment” to support Jordan’s health and national initiatives, affirming its keenness to provide “quality and distinguished” insurance coverage to its customers in the most difficult circumstances.

Haddadin noted the company is constantly striving to provide “innovative” solutions that enhance the Kingdom’s healthcare level and serve interests of insured beneficiaries within “strategic” partnerships with “prestigious” national institutions, mainly KHCF.
