Ahlam Sabeel Praises Nile River State’s Investment Experience

Atbara, Jan. 26, 2026 (SUNA) – The Secretary-General of the National Investment Authority, Ahlam Sabeel, praised Nile River State’s experience in attracting investments and called on other states to benefit from its example.She made the remarks while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the “Made in Nile River” Forum on Monday. Ahlam Sabeel noted that Sudan’s Investment Act is among the most distinguished in the Arab and African regions, offering investors privileges that simplify procedures and secure investments. She added that the 2021 Investment Act was amended in the 2025, and approved in a joint meeting of the Sovereignty Council and the Council of Ministers, to provide additional incentives for investors through partnerships that support the national economy and the mutual interests of all parties involved.She expressed her gratitude and appreciation to Nile River State for organizing the forum, following the successful staging of the first industrial investment forum, and reaffirmed the federal government’s continued support for the state’s industrial investment initiatives.BH/BH
