Doha, March 24 (QNA) – Al Arabi defeated Al Wakrah 3-0 in their match today as part of the second round of the Qatar Volleyball League, which is being held at the Qatar Volleyball Association hall with the participation of 10 clubs.
Al Arabi secured the victory with set scores of 25-15, 25-21, and 28-26, bringing their total to 38 points and moving them into third place, two points behind Al Wakrah, whose points total remains at 40, keeping them at the top of the standings.
In another match, Al Rayyan defeated Qatar SC 3-1, with set scores of 25-21, 22-25, 28-26, and 25-18.
With this result, Al Rayyan raised their points total to 36, securing second place, while Qatar remained at 33 points in fifth place.
The second division competitions will continue on Thursday, with two matches, where Al Shamal, who are in seventh place with 12 points, will meet Al Gharafa, who are in tenth and last place with 8 points, while in the second match, Al Ahli, who are in sixth place with 23 points, will meet Al Khor, who are in eighth place with 12 points.
