Doha, May 17 (QNA) – The Youth Committee of Al Arabi Sports Club will organize the closing ceremony of the fourth edition of the “Kafa” campaign next Wednesday, with the participation of several entities and institutions concerned with community awareness and national security. “Kafa” is Arab for “Enough”.
This year’s campaign was held under the theme “Internet Risks” and continued for five months, aiming to enhance digital awareness among students and promote the safe use of modern technologies.
The campaign featured two main pillars. The first focused on awareness and education, during which more than 30 lectures and workshops were organized for participating schools to raise students’ awareness of internet risks and methods for the safe use of modern technologies.
The second pillar focused on innovation and included the production of four theatrical performances, the organization of 13 art exhibitions, and the creation of 15 short films. In addition, more than 10 morning radio segments and 10 poetry pieces were presented, all reflecting students’ awareness and creativity in addressing issues related to digital security and online safety.
The closing ceremony will feature a performance of one of the winning theatrical productions. An accompanying art exhibition will also showcase a selection of distinguished works presented by participating schools, embodying the campaign’s awareness messages and objectives through innovative creative approaches.
During the ceremony, partners who contributed to supporting the campaign and achieving its objectives will be honored, in addition to participating schools, winning schools, lecturers, supporters, and contributors who played a role in the campaign’s success. (QNA)
