Khartoum, May 29, 2026 (SUNA) – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, sent a message of condolence to Chairman of Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, following the death of former Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi. Al-Burhan expressed his deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to the leadership, government, and people of Yemen, praying that Almighty Allah grant the deceased His vast mercy and bestow patience and solace upon his family and the Yemeni people. Al-Burhan concluded his cable with the Quranic verse: “Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return” (Surah Al-Baqarah).BH/BH
