Khartoum, August 25, 2026 (SUNA) – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, received at the Republican Palace the credentials of Yakubu Nyako as Ambassador of Nigeria to Sudan, in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohi-Eddin Salem.Al-Burhan welcomed the new ambassador, affirming Sudan’s commitment to strengthening and developing bilateral relations with Nigeria.For his part, the Nigerian ambassador conveyed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s greetings to the Sudanese people and his wishes for Sudan to achieve stability and prosperity.
