Khartoum, May 26, 2026 (SUNA) – Minister of Culture, Information, Antiquities and Tourism Khalid Al-Eisir said in a statement on Tuesday: “We pledge to remain loyal soldiers to this great people, defending them and standing among them in times of joy and on all occasions, whatever they may be. Nothing will separate us from them and their concerns except death.” Al-Eisir extended Eid greetings, sincere regards, and best wishes, along with appreciation and affection to the Sudanese people everywhere and to Muslims worldwide. He referred to his meeting with citizens at Kandahar Market in Omdurman, saying: “I witnessed firsthand their sincerity, simplicity, and deep love for their homeland. What I heard of chants and cheers in support of the Sudanese Armed Forces was a genuine expression of the spirit of national belonging that unites us all.” He added: “All respect and appreciation go to these good men who, through their spontaneity, reflected the authenticity and loyalty of this great people.” Al-Eisir concluded by saying: “May Allah protect Sudan and its people, and preserve the bonds of love and unity between the people and their institutions. Wishing the people of Sudan a year filled with goodness, wellbeing, love, and strength — and victory after victory, Allah willing.”BH/BH
