Amman, Jan 12 (Petra) — Amman Vision Investment and Development Company, the investment arm of the Greater Amman Municipality, unveiled a strategic investment opportunity for establishing and operating electric vehicle charging stations with integrated commercial facilities across the capital.
The initiative, part of the “Smart Amman City” project, aims to transform the capital into a technologically advanced metropolis while creating a more sustainable urban environment.
The project responds to the growing local and international electric vehicle market by developing charging stations in key areas throughout Amman.
Investment opportunities target renewable energy companies, electric vehicle agencies, and specialized EV infrastructure providers.
The scope includes developing charging stations alongside commercial and service facilities in vital areas of the capital, enhancing both charging infrastructure and business opportunities in the emerging sector.
Interested investors can access technical qualification requirements and reference terms through the company’s website (www.ammanvision.jo). Inquiries regarding the project’s terms of reference will be accepted until Sunday, January 26, with technical proposals due by 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 9.
The project represents a significant step in Amman’s smart city transformation, aiming to establish efficient and sustainable services while attracting investment and fostering innovation in smart transportation.
