Cairo, June 22 (Petra) — The Arab League issued a stern warning on Sunday regarding the escalation unfolding in the region, according to a statement the pan-Arab organisation issued.
The Arab League warned that ongoing escalation would perpetuate a cycle of violence, with “detrimental” impacts on all parties involved, urging conflicting parties to de-escalate and to return to diplomacy.
Separately, the Arab Parliament voiced concerns about the potential repercussions of the escalation on regional security and stability, highlighting that the Middle East is already grappling with rising tensions and cannot afford additional instability.
The Arab League called on the international community to put pressure to halt the escalation immediately and prevent the situation from deteriorating further into chaos.
