Amman, May 24 (Petra) – A Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army source said Saturday that the Northern Military Zone successfully thwarted an infiltration attempt along the northern front of its area of responsibility.
The source reported that a person was detected attempting to cross the border illegally. Rules of engagement were applied, the individual was apprehended, and subsequently referred to the relevant authorities.
The source reaffirmed that the Jordan Armed Forces remain fully committed to deploying all available resources to counter such activities and prevent all forms of infiltration and smuggling in order to safeguard the security and stability of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
