Amman, Jan. 22 (Petra) — Trading activity on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Thursday totaled JD 9.3 million, with 4 million shares traded through 3,230 transactions.
The ASE general index closed at 3,593 points, up 0.91 percent from the previous session.
Of the 105 listed companies whose shares were traded, 46 recorded price gains, while 21 posted declines.
At the sector level, the financial sector index rose 1.65 percent, the services sector index fell 0.59 percent, and the industrial sector index increased 0.27 percent.
