Amman, Aug. 24 (Petra) — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded a total trading value of JD 8.6 million on Sunday, with 3.6 million shares traded through 2,824 contracts.
According to an ASE statement, the general price index closed at 2,974 points, up by 0.24 percent compared with the previous session.
Out of 91 listed companies that traded today, 32 posted gains, while 32 recorded losses and the rest remained unchanged.
At the sector level, the services index rose by 0.31 percent, the industrial index increased by 0.26 percent, and the financial index gained 0.13 percent.
