Amman, Aug. 27 (Petra) — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded a total trading value of JD 8.9 million on Wednesday, with 4.5 million shares traded through 3,159 contracts.
The general price index closed at 2,965 points, up by 0.22 percent compared with the previous session.
Out of 90 listed companies traded today, 30 posted gains, 22 recorded losses, and the rest remained unchanged.
At the sector level, the industrial index rose by 0.40 percent, the services index increased by 0.14 percent, and the financial index gained 0.13 percent.
