Amman, Aug. 18 (Petra) — Trading at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Monday reached JD 9.1 million, with 4.8 million shares changing hands through 3,512 transactions.
The general price index closed at 2,965 points, up by 0.16 percent compared with the previous session.
Out of 99 listed companies that traded today, 36 posted gains, 34 saw declines, while the rest remained unchanged.
At the sector level, the services index rose by 0.17 percent, the financial sector gained 0.16 percent, and the industrial sector increased by 0.09 percent.
