Amman, Sept. 3 (Petra) – The total trading value at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Wednesday reached JD 8.1 million, with 5.5 million shares traded through 3,842 contracts.
The general share price index closed at 2,975 points, marking a decline of 0.03 percent compared with the previous session.
Out of 97 companies traded today, 43 recorded gains in share prices, while 22 went down.
At the sector level, the services index rose by 0.36 percent, while the industry index fell by 0.25 percent, and the financial index dropped by 0.06 percent.
